Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SuperSmalls platform ("Service"), operated by SuperSmalls ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

SuperSmalls is a fantasy football management platform that allows commissioners to create and manage private leagues, and managers to participate in those leagues.

2. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. League Commissioners

A commissioner is the user who creates and manages a league. Commissioners are responsible for:

• Choosing the league's plan and optional add-ons
• Inviting managers to join the league
• Managing the league roster and locking it when ready
• Configuring prize kitty amounts and distribution rules
• Initiating season renewals

Commissioners are not employees, agents, or representatives of SuperSmalls. We provide the platform; commissioners manage their own leagues.

4. Payments & Billing

SuperSmalls uses a per-manager billing model. When a commissioner locks the roster, each manager in the league receives a payment request for their share of the league fee (and optional prize kitty contribution).

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. SuperSmalls does not store your card details.

Key billing terms:

• League fees are charged annually, per season, not on a recurring subscription
• Each manager pays their individual share directly via Stripe Checkout
• The league activates once all managers have paid
• Payments are non-refundable once the league has been activated for the season
• If a manager is removed before paying, their pending payment request is cancelled

5. Prize Kitty

Commissioners may configure a prize kitty that is collected from managers as part of their payment. Prize kitty funds are held by SuperSmalls and distributed according to the commissioner's configured prize distribution rules at the end of the season.

SuperSmalls acts as a facilitator for prize kitty collection and distribution. We are not responsible for disputes between commissioners and managers regarding prize allocation.

6. Season Renewals

At the end of a season, the commissioner may choose to renew the league for a new season. Renewal involves updating settings, confirming or adjusting the roster, and collecting fresh payments from all managers. There is no obligation to renew.

7. Live Auctions & Real-Time Features

SuperSmalls offers live auction functionality that operates in real time via WebSocket connections. By participating in a live auction, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

7.1 Real-Time Bidding

• All bids are final once placed and cannot be retracted
• The server timestamp is authoritative for determining bid validity and timer expiry — your device clock may differ
• If two bids are placed at approximately the same time, the first bid received by the server takes priority
• Connection quality is your responsibility. SuperSmalls is not liable for bids missed or not submitted due to your internet connection, device issues, or network interruptions

7.2 Chat Conduct

Live auctions include a real-time chat feature. All chat messages are logged and visible to other league members. You agree not to:

• Send abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory messages
• Spam or flood the chat
• Share personal information about other users without their consent

We reserve the right to review chat logs and take action (including account suspension) if chat conduct violates these Terms.

7.3 Technical Failures

• While we strive for reliability, live auctions depend on real-time infrastructure that may experience interruptions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted auction service
• In the event of a technical failure, the server-side state is authoritative. Player assignments, bid records, and budget deductions recorded on the server are final
• Commissioners (auction runners) may pause, resume, or otherwise manage the auction to address technical issues at their discretion

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity

9. Intellectual Property

The SuperSmalls platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by SuperSmalls. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as squad names and league names), but grant us a licence to display it within the Service.

Premier League club names, logos, and player data are the property of their respective owners and are used under fair use for the purposes of fantasy football gameplay.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Availability & Liability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperSmalls is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SuperSmalls in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Any paid league fees for the current active season are non-refundable.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
